One credit per respondent

The Moevox API is metered per sampled respondent. A report with sample_size: 100 consumes up to 100 credits.

How credits are settled

1. Submission: your balance must cover the requested sample_size, otherwise the request is rejected with 402.
2. Reservation: when sampling starts, credits are reserved for the number of respondents that can actually be sampled.
3. Consumption: credits are consumed per successful respondent as sampling progresses.
4. Settlement: unused reserved credits are released back. The final balance is reported as credits_left in the completed result.

If some respondents fail during sampling, you are only charged for the successful ones. A failed pipeline releases its full reservation.

Sample size limits

• Minimum: 50 respondents.
• Maximum: 1,000 respondents per report.
• Default when omitted: 100.

Buying credits

Buy credit packs from the research workspace under Buy credits. Credit packs are one-time purchases and never expire.

Example cost

sample_size: 100  -> up to 100 credits
sample_size: 500  -> up to 500 credits
sample_size: 1000 -> up to 1,000 credits
